Technical Application Guidelines
✅ Transport and store product in a cool area.
✅ Methylene chloride is heat sensitive; this can result in the expansion of packaging.
✅ Always first test surface reaction to confirm product suitability.
✅ Note: PPE requirements include respirators, safety gloves, goggles, and protective clothing.
✅ Work with the product in a shaded area or cooler times during the day, as this will reduce evaporation and increase the product’s effectiveness.
✅ Take regular breaks when working with the product.
✅ Work in small areas of 0.5 square metres at a time to prevent the product from drying out.
✅ Re-apply if the product has dried out.
✅ Application by paintbrush should be thick and with a dabbing action.
✅ Avoid applying the product too thinly.
✅ Allow the product to work for 3 – 15 minutes or until the paint or coating has blistered.
✅ Coverage per 1L is 1 – 1.5 square metres depending on the number of layers and the type of coating.
✅ Rinse masonry surfaces clean with water or use mineral turpentine to avoid raising wood grain.
✅ Collect waste in a suitable absorbent material and once dried, dispose of responsibly.
✅ Upon completion, wash all brushes, tools, and hands with soap and warm water to remove any traces of product.
